How can I import my Vespa GT200 L from the US to Canada.? - vespa help

Help! I have this scooter that I bought in the U.S., and I want to import to Canada, where I live. This is a GT200L the FIR seems to think that it is not acceptable (even though this model and the model is available for sale to Canadian dealers VESPA). What can I do to it to be introduced in Canada?
